Essay scholarship of $1500 is available for a relative of a women who currently serving or has served in the armed forces.
The essay competition is open to high school seniors or college students.
Applicants must have a 3.2 or better Grade Point Average (GPA) on a 4.0 scale to be eligible.
About writing essay
The essay must be written on the 2015 topic and shall include documented evidence of research. Applicants are encouraged to contact Military Recruiters, Military active or reserve components, etc. to enhance their research. Each essay must be the applicants own work and shall consist of 1,000 to 1,500 words
Scholarship application deadline is March 6.
