The Florida Tax Credit is tax relief provided for organizations which makes contributions to nonprofit scholarship funding organizations (SFOs).

Then SFOs awards scholarships and financial aid for the students coming from low income families.

Every year only selected SFOs are approved to provide Florida Tax Credit Scholarships.

Students must contact these SFOs directly to apply for scholarships.

Following organizations are administering scholarships this year.

A.A.A. Scholarship Foundation- FL, LLC

Their objective is to provide economic and other assistance to economically-disadvantaged families and families of disabled students. They also administer other states Tax Credit Scholarships as well.

Step Up For Students

They believe in the equal education opportunity for students and offer multiple scholarships, including the need-based scholarships and income-based scholarships.

Scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis (giving priority to renewal families) and the deadline to complete the online application AND submit all required documentation is April 30, 2015, so please apply early.
