UAA Janice K. Barden Aviation Scholarship

The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) is excited to announce UAA Janice K. Barden Aviation Scholarship Program. The scholarship is open to full-time undergraduate enrolled in aviation-related curricula at an NBAA/UAA member school. The scholarship is named for the late Janice K. Barden, who was active in the aviation community for decades and who served as chair of the NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition Local Committee eight times, more than any other person in NBAA history. NBAA Charities annually awards a minimum of $1,000 to each of five undergraduates.

The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) was founded in 1947 and based in Washington, DC. It is the leading organization for companies that rely on general aviation aircraft to help make their businesses more efficient, productive and successful.

Eligibility:

  • Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
  • Full-time undergraduate enrolled in aviation-related curricula at an NBAA/UAA member school
  • Rising sophomore or higher standing
  • A minimum GPA of 3.0
