Are you interested in receiving Public Services Awards If your answer is yes, you can apply for Samuel Huntington Public Service Award that is offered by National Grid. In order to apply, students must be a graduated from accredited U.S. colleges. The Samuel Huntington Public Service Award provides $15,000 for a one-year public service project.

Eligibility:
All graduating students from accredited U.S. colleges are invited to apply by January 19, 2016.

Along with the application, please submit:
- A brief abstract of the proposal (no more than 100 words).
- Proposal in 1,000 words or less, including:
- Brief statement of need for the project (no more than a few sentences).
- Specific measurable target objectives.
- Schedule for project tasks and sustainability of the project.
- Budget (your application will be viewed more favorably if a significant portion of the funds is devoted to your project, award monies not to be used for student loan repayment).
- Three letters of recommendation (each one-page only).
- Transcript (official).

Award Amount:
- The Samuel Huntington Public Service Award provides Samuel Huntington for a one-year public service project: $7,500 is awarded at the start of the project and the remaining $7,500 is awarded upon receipt of a six-month progress report.
- Selection Awards will be based on the quality of your proposal, your academic record, and other personal achievements. Semi- finalists will be personally interviewed prior to selection of the award recipients.
