Carpenter Bus Sales is proud to announce “Extra Mile” Scholarship. The scholarship is available for graduating high school senior or current undergraduate student. Carpenter Bus Sales has been blessed time again, and for that, they would like to give back by awarding two (2) prospective college students each with a $1,000 scholarship. Applicant must show good character, excel in academics, and be involved in community service to be considered for scholarship.
Carpenter Bus Sales was founded in 1953 and has always taken great pride in providing products and services that are second-to-none in the bus dealer industry.
Eligibility:
The scholarship is open to any graduating high school senior or current undergraduate student.

Supporting Documents:
- Most recent transcript showing GPA
- Letter of Acceptance at university student plans to attend or is attending
- One letter of recommendation from a teacher, coach, administrator, pastor, or community leader
- Resume detailing all of the community service projects you have participated in.
- Completed Essay of 500-650 words and typed double spaced on the topic: “What does it mean to go the extra mile for others?”

Award Amount:
Carpenter Bus Sales is offering one scholarship to a female student and one scholarship to a male student each of $1000 amount.
Application Deadline:
To be considered for scholarship, all required information must be received no later than December 31, 2015.
