Going back to school? Searching for financial awards to help pay for school? For the 3rd consecutive year, Scotiabank has partnered with yconic, Canada’s leading student platform, to offer scholarship for Canadian and international students who are 16 years of age or older. The candidates will get a chance to win one of several awards that altogether total $50,000 which will help fund their academic futures.

Eligibility:
The Scotiabank National Scholarship is open to yconic members who are:
- Canadian citizens, permanent residents of Canada or international students with a valid student visa (permit must be for one year or longer)
- 16 years old or older at the time of application
- High school or CEGEP students planning to enroll in a certificate, diploma or degree program in the 2016/2017 or 2017/2018 academic year at a Canadian college, university or trade school
OR
Post-secondary students enrolled or planning to enroll in a certificate, diploma or degree program in the 2015/2016 or 2016/2017 academic year at a Canadian college, University or trade school

Award Amount:
The Scotiabank National Scholarship has $50,000 in awards. There are eighteen (18) $2,500 Scholarships available, plus there’s $5,000 in Early Bird prizing

The deadline to submit your scholarship application is October 29, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. ET.
