SCI-Arc is thrilled to announce the launch of a new scholarship for young Mexican architects. Eligible candidates will have received an undergraduate degree in architecture at a college/university (inside or outside of Mexico).As SCI-Arc’s presence in Mexico expands, the school is eager to enable top talent from Mexico to study at SCI-Arc in LA. The SCI-Arc Mexico 2016 Scholarship covers 100% of the tuition fees for the Master of Architecture (M.Arch 2) two-year program.
SCI-Arc is a world-renowned center of innovation and one of the nation’s few independent architecture schools, offering undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate programs.
Eligibility:
- To be a Mexican citizen by birth or naturalization. (proof of citizenship will be required)
- To have studied architecture at college/university (inside or outside of Mexico) and have received a degree (title) of architecture between January 1, 2012 and August 1, 2016.
- To be able to demonstrate proficiency of the English language (finalists for the scholarship will be contacted for a phone interview).
- Only one application per person can be submitted.
- Students who are currently receiving scholarship support or financial aid from SCI-Arc or SCI-Arc Mexico are ineligible to apply for this opportunity.

- Three (3) letters of recommendation (in English)
- Personal statement (in English)
- Copy of academic transcripts
- Professional portfolio (15-35 pages of architectural work)

Award Amount:
The SCI-Arc Mexico 2016 Scholarship will cover 100% of tuition for the Master of Architecture M.Arch 2 (two year) program at the SCI-Arc campus in Los Angeles.
