Scholarship Foundation of Santa Barbara’s Scholarship Program

Are you looking a scholarship to be considered for future funding? The Scholarship Foundation of Santa Barbara is offering its annual scholarship applications for Undergraduate, Vocational, Graduate, and Medical (MD) Students. The purpose of the Foundation is to assists students studying in standard academic programs on a traditional academic calendar. Scholarship awards are range from $500 to $5,000 per academic year, with average award amounts of $2,500 at a four-year college and $1,500 at a two-year college.

The Scholarship Foundation of Santa Barbara was founded in 1962 in Santa Barbara, California. It is inspiring, encourages, and supports Santa Barbara County students in their pursuit of college, graduate, and vocational school education through financial aid advising and the granting of scholarships.

Eligibility:

  • Applicant must have attended at least four of the six years between grades 7-12 AND graduate or receive a GED from Santa Barbara County high school by June 2017.
  • Applicant must be planning to attend full-time as an undergraduate, medical (M.D.), or graduate student at a Title IV-approved school.
  • Applicant must be a U.S citizen, permanent resident, or AB 540 eligible
  • Applicants eligible for the Santa Barbara City College Promise who indicate that they will be attending SBCC will not be funded.
  • If applicants are not eligible and/or are not sure you’ll attend Santa Barbara City College, you will need to fill out our application to be eligible for our funding. We WILL fund third or fourth year SBCC students and transfer students after they have received the SBCC Promise.
  • Recipients must maintain full-time status and a minimum 2.0 GPA to remain eligible.
  • Recipients are eligible for 4 years of undergraduate funding and 4 years of medical/graduate level funding.
