Millions of boys and girls grow up in the United States dreaming of playing major league baseball. Hence, The Planet of Baseball is thrilled to announce the launch of the “Planet of Baseball Scholarship Program”. The program is open to the students who are currently attending or planning to attend undergraduate or graduate college or university in U.S. The Planet of Baseball will worth scholarship twice a year.The total value of each scholarship is $500.
The Planet of Baseball exists to promote and encourage the love for the sport of baseball and is a comprehensive full-service repository of everything related to baseball.
Eligibility:
Any current student who is a U.S. citizen and either currently attending or planning to attend a U.S. college/university for undergraduate or graduate studies, eligible to apply.
How to Apply:
- To apply, the candidate must submit a 500-700 word essay in a Microsoft Word (.doc) file answering the question: “What do you love about baseball in high school?”
- Candidates must also provide:
- Full name, phone number, mailing address and e-mail address
- Name of your school
- Area of Study
- Proof that you are a student (confirmation of enrollment, etc.)

Financial Aid and Award Money:
The total value of each scholarship is $500 and is awarded twice a year – will be sent directly to candidates school (Or via Paypal).
Application deadline:
There will be two scholarships awarded, with submission dates below:
- Spring Scholarship: March 1st, 2017
- Fall Scholarship: September 1st, 2017
