A.O.E. Foundation Scholarships

The Alpha Omega Epsilon (AOE) National Foundation is now offering its A.O.E. Foundation Scholarships to undergraduate women who are majoring in engineering or technical science.The mission of the Alpha Omega Epsilon National Foundation is to provide educational opportunities to women in engineering and technical sciences that enhance personal, professional, and academic development. The winning candidates will worth (2) two $1000 Rings of Excellence Scholarships and (3) three $1000 Engineering and Technical Science Achievement Scholarships

The A.E.O. National Foundation is a non-profit organization which invests in women’s future in the fields of engineering and technical science by Supporting academic achievement including student scholarships, offering volunteer and leadership opportunities within the Foundation.

Eligibility:

Applicants must be:

  • A current freshman through junior in college this school year
  • A sophomore through senior for the school year 2017-2018
  • Accepted or enrolled in an undergraduate engineering or technical science degree program. The program must be ABET-accredited or approved by Alpha Omega Epsilon National Foundation.
  • International students are eligible if they are attending an ABET-accredited school and program and also meet the other scholarship requirements.
  • For Rings of Excellence Scholarships:
  1. Scholarships for members of Alpha Omega Epsilon Sorority, or children or grandchildren of members.
  2. Applicants must be an undergraduate and majoring in engineering or technical science.
  3. Applicants must have an overall grade point average of 2.0/4.0 or equivalent.
  • For Engineering and Technical Science Achievement Scholarships:
  1. Scholarships for undergraduate women majoring in engineering or technical science.
  2. Applicants must have an overall grade point average of 3.0/4.0 or equivalent.

The A.O.E. National Foundation promotes academic excellence by awarding scholarships of $500 – $2500 to women who promote engineering and technical science by exemplifying high standards in:

  • Integrity
  • Academic Achievement and Scholastic Aptitude
  • Community involvement
  • Extracurricular activities

Application Deadline:

The submitting complete applications must be postmarked no later than February 15, 2017, or submitted online by 11:59 pm PST on the date of the deadline.
