Monash University recognizes that your financial and personal circumstances may have prevented you from accessing high-quality education. That’s why they have designed Asylum Seekers Scholarship to alleviate the barriers you are facing, and give you access to opportunities that might otherwise be out of reach. This scholarship enables asylum seekers in Australia to gain a world-class Monash education, transforming their own lives as well as the lives of others. Full tuition fees paid for the duration of your degree, plus $3000 per year.

Eligibility:
Scholarships are awarded based on need, as demonstrated in your application. To be eligible you must be:
- An international student
- Holder of a Bridging Visa A or E
- A commencing or continuing student enrolled or intending to enroll in an undergraduate degree at a Monash campus in Australia. You must be offered a place in a Monash course to be considered. The scholarship cannot be deferred, and you must not receive any other Monash scholarship.

Financial Aid and Award Money:
- Two scholarships are available each year. Additional scholarships may be available depending on funding.
- Tuition fees paid for the duration of the degree
- $3,000 for a full-time study load (48 credit points), paid per year until the minimum points for your degree are completed.
Application Deadline:
Applications close on Friday, January 31, 2017, and you will be advised of the outcome by February 2017.
