Rocky Mountain Mattress Company is offering the scholarship to any college or university students in the honor of Mark A. Forester as he was killed 2010 in Afghanistan while risking his life to save a fallen comrade. To be entering in scholarship program the candidates must write an essay about honoring America’s military heroes. $1000 award will be given to the deserving candidate that only is usable for tuition and book costs and the check will be written to the winner’s school of choice.

Eligibility:
Any student who is currently enrolled in an accredited American university or college, or will be enrolled for the Fall/Summer semester of 2017, can apply for the Mark A. Forester scholarship.
How to Apply:
To enter, the student must write a 300-500-word essay – explaining how they go about honoring America’s military heroes.
Submitting Details:

Financial Aid and Award Money:
- The Mark Forester Foundation will award up to $1000 to winning candidates.
- The award will only be usable for tuition and book costs and the check will be written to the winner’s school of choice.
Application Deadline:
- The deadline to submit an essay is June 1, 2017, at midnight.
- Essays will be reviewed and the winner will be announced on June 15th, 2017 on the website. The winner will be notified by email.
