Loeb Fellowship

Harvard Graduate School of Education (HGSE) is offering Loeb Fellowship. If you are an architect, landscape architect, urban planner, journalist, public artist and affordable housing developer, you can apply for the given fellowship. Aim of the fellowship is to evoke leadership skills in all fellows. Loeb fellowship helps applicants to become better at their craft, to strengthen their leadership skills and expand their networks and to change the world with their unique perspectives.

The Harvard Graduate School of Education (HGSE) was founded in 1920. It is one of the graduate schools of Harvard University, and is one of the top schools of education in the United States.

Eligibility:

  • Candidates who are influential in designing and shaping the built and natural environment and are having an impact on social conditions around the world.
  • Architects, landscape architects, urban planners, journalists, public artists and affordable housing developers are eligible to apply.
  • Candidates must have 5-10 years of experience in the field.
  • Professionals who have leadership ability and who show the potential to take their capacities to much higher levels.

Supporting Documents:

  • Online Application: You will be asked to register in order to submit an online application. Please answer all questions on the application form, taking notice of the suggested length for answers.
  • Application Fee:  There is an application fee of $40.00, payable by credit card.
  • Letters of Recommendation:  During the online application, you will be asked to enter the names and contact information for 3 professional associates who will provide letters of recommendation.
  • Professional Resume: You will be prompted to attach a copy of your professional resume. Be sure that it includes dates of graduation and degrees received as well as your work history.
  • Portfolio and/or Supplemental Materials: During the online process, you will be asked if you want to submit your portfolio and/or supplemental materials, such as articles, books, plans, speeches, or similar indicators of your work.
