The Kosta Dimefski Memorial Scholarship fund is offering scholarship to the students whose Parents or Grandparents are current regular members of Macedonian Patriotic Organization (MPO). The fund will award a $2000 scholarship at the MPO Grand Banquet on September 6, 2015.
The mission of the Macedonian Patriotic Organization is to continue to work for human, civil and economic rights for all Macedonians of the world.
Eligibility:
- Undergraduate students and high school students of Macedonian descent who are studying at or have been accepted at an accredited college or university in the United States or Canada are encouraged to compete.
- Parents or Grandparents must be current regular MPO members
How to Apply:
Applicants, who want to apply for the Kosta Dimefski Memorial Scholarship Program, must complete the application form. The form can be downloaded by the link:

Supporting Material:
- Participants must submit 1 entry from the following categories:
- An original work of literature – which may include an essay, short story or poetry the entry, must not exceed 1000 words,
- an original work of photography – mounted or matted on sturdy material should not exceed 11 x 14 inches,
- an original work of visual arts 2 or 3 dimensional- must not exceed 30 inches, an original film production not longer than 5 minutes
- an original musical composition – not longer than 5 minutes. These options can be sent in a cd/dvd format.
- One recent photo of applicant (may be reprinted for scholarship materials)
- All Entries should include a statement describing how your work relates to the theme.

Award Amount:
A $2000 scholarship award will be given to the deserving candidate.
Application Deadline:
