JFK Library Foundation Marjorie Kovler Research Fellowship

The John F. Kennedy Library Foundation is inviting you to apply for the “Marjorie Kovler Research Fellowship” that is funded by the Marjorie Blum Kovler Foundation. It is intended to support a scholar in the production of a substantial work in the area of foreign intelligence and the presidency. The foundation provides the Library with financial and creative resources with which to enrich its many educational programs, to expand its research and archival capacity and to enhance its museum and exhibits. The fellows will receive a stipend of up to $2,500 and also receive the estimated per diem cost of accommodations, meals, and incidental for Boston is $225.

The John F. Kennedy Library Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides financial support, staffing, and creative resources for the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum. The Foundation currently employs 26 full and part-time staff who works closely with the Library’s federal employees to help fulfill the mission of the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum.

Eligibility:

Scholars are invited to apply who are works or plan to work in the production of a substantial work in the area of foreign intelligence and the presidency, or a related topic.

Supporting Documents:

Submit the following information as part of their package:

  • Two letters of recommendation from academic or other appropriate references;
  • A sample of your writing (approx. ten pages);
  • A project budget; and
  • A vita.
