Information Systems Security Association (ISSA) is pleased to announce ISSAEF Scholarships. The candidates who are pursuing a career in computer science with a focus on information security or privacy are eligible to apply for the scholarship. The foundation develops, conduct, and promote educational programs, symposia, seminars, and support scholarship in information security and other activities to educate the public about information security technology. The total amount of the scholarships is $9,000.
Information Systems Security Association (ISSA) is a not-for-profit, international professional organization of information security professionals and practitioners. It was founded in 1984 after work on its establishment started in 1982.
Eligibility:
Eligibility for ISSAEF Scholarships
- Student must be pursuing a career in computer science with a focus on information security or privacy
- Must be an active, full-time undergraduate or graduate
- Student in an information security related program
Eligibility for ISSA Alamo Chapter Scholarships
- Alamo Chapter $1,500 Scholarship – Applicants must be:
- A resident of San Antonio Metro Area or attending a college within the San Antonio Metro Area
- Studying Information Assurance, Information Security or a Security focused degree program
- A Sophomore, Junior, Senior or Graduate Student
- Registered at an accredited 4-year college or university
- Alamo Chapter $500 Scholarship – Applicants must be:
- A resident of San Antonio Metro Area or attending a college within the San Antonio Metro Area
- Studying Information Assurance, Information Security, or a Security focused degree program
- A Sophomore, Junior or Senior
- Attending any accredited 2 years technical or community college
