High School Biology Scholarship

The High School Biology Challenge is a biology scholarship is offered by the Common Knowledge Scholarship Foundation (CKSF). The High School Biology Challenge is also a team competition. The top scoring student will receive a monetary scholarship and the top scoring school will receive the National Championship Trophy. Even if you don’t win the scholarship money, each month you will be reviewing the core content for college level biology.

The Common Knowledge Scholarship Foundation (CKSF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that creates and delivers innovative scholarship and educational programs for students of all ages through the use of internet-based quiz competitions.

Eligibility:

  • All U.S. high school students are welcome to apply for scholarship.

How to apply:

For applying the scholarship, participants must register with CKSF to take the scholarship quizzes.

  • There are four Challenge Round quiz during the months of August, September, October and November
  • The top 5 students at each school are advanced to the State Championship quiz (scholarship awarded)
  • The top school from each state is advanced to the National Championship quiz
  • The highest scoring school/team receives the National Championship trophy

 Award Amount:

  • $250 scholarship
  • Trophy for the highest scoring school/team

 Application Deadline:

The application deadline is November 29, 2015.
