Golden LEAF Foundation is pleased to announce Golden LEAF Scholarship Programs. There are two types of scholarship Programs as: Golden LEAF Scholars Program to attend NC 4-year colleges or universities and Golden LEAF Scholars Program – Two Year Colleges to attend N.C. Community Colleges. The Golden LEAF Scholarship program is designed to help North Carolinians attend the state’s community colleges.
The Golden LEAF Foundation is a nonprofit organization established in 1999 to help transform North Carolina’s economy. The Golden LEAF Foundation works in partnership with governmental entities, educational institutions, economic development organizations and nonprofits to achieve its mission.
Eligibility:
- For Golden LEAF Scholars Program to attend NC 4-year colleges or universities
High school seniors or community college transfer students planning to attend any of the participating colleges or universities who reside in a qualifying County and demonstrate financial need are eligible to apply.
- For Golden LEAF Scholars Program – Two Year Colleges to attend N.C. Community Colleges
Students attending or planning to attend any of North Carolina’s participating community colleges who reside in a qualifying county and demonstrate financial need are eligible to apply.

There are different awards that will be given for these two scholarships.
