Dunkin’ Donuts Scholarship Program

For many high school students the biggest obstacle to a higher education is money. Dunkin Donuts works with Scholarship America and the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation to remove this obstacle. That’s why Dunkin’ Donuts franchisees are pleased to offer Scholarship Program to qualified high school seniors. Scholarship recipients will be selected from eligible high school seniors who demonstrate “well-rounded” character. They have awarded nearly $2,000,000 in scholarship money to qualified students and award amount varies for this year.

The Dunkin’ Donuts & Baskin-Robbins Community Foundation (DDBRCF) has been helping to ensure the basic needs of their communities since 2006. The DDBRCF’s mission is to serve their neighborhoods through hunger relief, children’s health and safety initiatives.

Eligibility:

Dunkin’ Donuts Franchisees scholarship awards are open to qualified high school seniors. The candidates can check their eligibility through the given link:

  • Rhode Island or Bristol County, MA applicants can enter their home zip code to begin the application process or learn more.
  • If from Connecticut or Western MA,  you enter your home zip code to begin the application process or learn more.

  • If from New Hampshire, enter your home zip code to begin the application process.
  • If from Palm Beach – Treasure Coast area, the Greater Miami – Fort Lauderdale area, and the Greater Ft Myers –Naples area, enter your home zip code to begin the application process or learn more.

Financial Aid and Award Money:

Through the Dunkin’ Donuts Community Partnership and the Dunkin’ Donuts Scholarship Fund, they have awarded nearly $2,000,000 in scholarship money to qualified students in the united states. Award amount varies for this year.

Application Deadline:

  • For Rhode Island or Bristol County, MA, applications will be accepted from February 1, 2022, through March 15, 2022, at 11:59 pm EST.
  • If from Connecticut or Western MA, applications will be accepted from February 1, 2022, through March 15, 2022, at 11:59 pm EST.
  • If from the Greater Philadelphia region, applications will be accepted from March 1, 2022, through April 15, 2022, at 11:59 pm EST.
  • If from New Hampshire, applications will be accepted from February 1, 2022, through April 15, 2022, at 5:00 pm EST.

Winners of college scholarships are selected on a hand full of eligibility requirements:

  • Academic record with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and participation in school and involvement within local communities
  • Current part-time and full-time employees are encouraged to apply and pursue their college dreams
  • Plans to become college students by attending a four-year college or an accredited two-year certificate program
  • A recommendation outline the applicants leadership qualities and community activities

Financial need won’t play a major factor in determining the applicant winners. The emphasis will be put on academic scholarship, importance of education, building a strong local community and desire to become a market leader

25 scholarships are awarded by the Dunkin’ Donuts Scholarship Fund which is a non-profit organization designed to help local students become full-time undergraduate students.

If selected as a recipient, the student will receive:

  • A $2,000 to $5,000 scholarship for a college education
  • One year cost for current undergraduate students and the scholarship isn’t renewable for the next year.
  • Eligible students may not receive scholarship more than once.
  • Scholarships are for a full-time undergraduate course of study geared towards a bachelor’s degree or an associate degree.
