Are you a high school freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior or a current or entering college or graduate school student of any level? Digital Privacy Scholarship is sponsored by Digital Responsibility Organization as it’s important to understand that almost anything you post on the Internet is neither temporary nor private. The purpose of this scholarship is to help you understand why you should be cautious about what you post on the Internet. Students will get a chance to win $1000 through the scholarship program.
Digital Responsibility was started by a group of Silicon Valley tech employees who wished to share with young people the personal and public consequences of technology.
Eligibility:
The candidates must follow the given instructions which are given bellow:
- Candidate must be a high school freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior or a current or entering college or graduate school student of any level.
- Home-schooled students are also eligible.
- There is no age limit.
- You must also be a U.S. citizen or legal resident.
How to Apply:

Supporting Documents:
- The top 10 applications will be selected as finalists. The finalists will be asked to write a full length 500- to 1,000-word essay about digital privacy.
- Also, write a 140-character message about e-waste.
Financial Aid and Award Money:
The Digital Responsibility will award $1000 scholarship to the winning candidate.
Application Deadline:
The application must be submitted by June 30, 2017.
