The Daisy Rock / Bangles Vicki Peterson Guitar Scholarship is sponsored by the Daisy Rock Girl Guitar Company. The scholarship program is open for U.S. or non-US citizen who demonstrates outstanding musicianship, band performance skills and originality in the Rock / Pop genre. The total scholarship award of $1,000 and a new Daisy Rock/Bangles Vicki Peterson guitar will be given to winning candidate.
Eligibility:
- Available to international students and U.S. Citizens
- The scholarship will be awarded in fall 2015 to a newly enrolling female student in the Associate of Arts Performance (Guitar) Program who demonstrates outstanding musicianship, band performance skills and originality in the Rock/Pop genre.
- Scholarship applicants must have submitted the Application for Admissions by the scholarship application deadline and must be entering the program for the first time.
- May only be applied to the Associate of Arts in Performance (Guitar) Program
- Certificate and MI Select programs are not eligible

DVD video of the candidates performing:
- Three (3) diverse songs on your guitar within the Rock/Pop genre. It is required that this include two (2) live ensemble (band or duo) performances, and one (1) solo unaccompanied piece in various styles. You may use electric and/or acoustic guitar.
