Brave New Schools Competition

Brave New Schools is proud to be announcing an exciting scholarship contest opportunity named as “Brave New Schools Competition”. Teachers & Nonprofit Leaders are eligible to apply for the scholarship program. The competition is giving a platform where young people share their poems, stories, and dreams to reimagine public high school. $50,000 of scholarships is announced for the competition and some grand prize winners, winners, and finalists may also receive a special opportunity to travel to Los Angeles, California to attend a live event designed.

Brave New Schools is a collaboration between Youth Speaks and XQ: The Super School Institute that powers a national, open, online competition and a series of 20 town halls where young people share their poems, stories, and dreams to reimagine public high school.

Eligibility:

Teachers who can get 15 students to submit videos will be eligible to enter and nonprofit organizations are eligible for the scholarship contest.

Financial Aid and Award Money:             

• 5 Grand prize winners will receive $4,000 educational scholarships
• 5 Winners will receive $3,000 educational scholarships
• 15 Finalists will receive $1,000 educational scholarships
• Some grand prize winners, winners, and finalists may also receive a special opportunity to travel to Los Angeles, California to attend a live event designed to inspire the country to rethink high school.
