BNSF Railway Foundation Scholarship Program

The United Negro College Fund or UNCF is glad to announce the “BNSF Railway Foundation Scholarship Program”.  Full time, enrolled degree-seeking candidate at a UNCF member institution or at any other fully accredited the U.S. located college or university during the 2017-2018 academic year can apply for this scholarship. UNCF’s mission is to build a robust and nationally-recognized pipeline of under-represented students who, because of UNCF support, become highly-qualified college graduates. The total worth of the scholarship is $22,500.

The United Negro College Fund, or UNCF, is an American philanthropic organization that funds scholarships for black students and general scholarship funds for 39 private historically black colleges and universities.

Eligibility:

You are encouraged to apply if you are

  • Possess a minimum of a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 Scale
  • Have a demonstrated unmet, financial need as verified by their college or university
  • Reside or be a permanent resident of Tarrant County, Texas
  • Be a full-time, enrolled degree-seeking candidate at a UNCF member institution or at any other fully accredited U.S. located college or university during the 2017-2018 academic year.

Financial Aid and Award Money:             

Ten (10) scholarship awards are available each up to $2,250.
