The Bachus & Schanker, LLC Scholarship is available to high school seniors of college or university and students and who are enrolled at an accredited college or university. The scholarship is meant to enable students to better focus on their intellectual development and career goals. Understanding the importance of a quality education, Bachus & Schanker, LLC created a scholarship meant to enable students to better focus on their intellectual development and career goals. Students have the opportunity to win $2000 semi-annual scholarships to be paid toward tuition for the upcoming semester.
Bachus & Schanker, LLC and their staff of more than 70 advocates suffer for the rights of individuals and families who suffer injury or death caused by the negligent or reckless conduct of others. They also help those injured on the job or by dangerous products.
Eligibility:
- Any high school senior accepted to attend a four-year university by the time of the award
- Full-time student attending a four-year university in the United States
- A 3.0 cumulative GPA may apply
How to Apply:
For applying the scholarship, the candidates must submit an essay no fewer than 800 words on the topic “your opinion on the importance and efficacy of the 7th Amendment and how it affects your life”. Consideration for the entirety of the Amendment (rather than the well-known nutshell explanation of the right to trial by jury) is encouraged.

Award Amount:
One gift of $2000 will be awarded twice a year to a different student each fall and spring semester.
Application Deadline:
To be considered for the 2017 fall semester award given in September, students must submit by July 30th, 2017.
