If you want to pursue a career in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, Augsburg College provides “Augstem Scholars Program”. Each spring semester, a limited number of scholarships may be awarded on an early decision basis to community college students who are planning to attend Augsburg the following academic year. The AugSTEM program is designed to support Augsburg juniors and seniors who wish to pursue a career in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. The total award amount of the scholarship is $22,500.
Augsburg College is a private, coeducational liberal arts college located in Minneapolis, Minnesota affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Upon its founding in 1869, it was a Norwegian-American Lutheran seminary known as Augsburg Seminarium.
Eligibility:
This scholarship program is applicable for:
- Enrolled full-time in a STEM major (biology, biopsychology, chemistry, computer science, environmental studies, mathematics, or physics)
- Within 5 semesters of graduating as of Fall 2017 (plan to graduate with STEM major from Augsburg by Fall 2019 or earlier). Prospective transfers are welcome to contact us for assistance with developing their plans.
- Major GPA of 3.0 or higher
- U.S. citizen, national, or permanent resident
- Demonstrate financial need via FAFSA

Financial Aid and Award Money:
