AlgaeCal is proud to announce its first ever Scholarship Program to interested applicants, who are enrolled at a college/university in the 2016-2017 school year, or who are enrolling in the upcoming semester. The AlgaeCal Scholarship originated from the desire to financially assist students in pursuit of higher education as they face the challenge of significantly rising costs of obtaining a college degree. Winner of the AlgaeCal scholarship program will receive $1000 scholarship.
Algas Calcareas is a South American ocean marine alga which grows abundantly in the intertidal zone. These kiwi-fruit sized balls are a rich source of calcium, magnesium, and over 70 other trace minerals.
Eligibility:
Applicants must be:
- Currently attending a post secondary institute in the United States or Canada
- Carrying a minimum 3.00 GPA
