The American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES) is offering scholarship program named as “Intel Growing The Legacy Scholarship Program”. Students must be a full-time undergraduate student at an accredited four-year college/university or a full-time graduate student at an accredited college/university for the 2017-2018 academic year to be eligible for the scholarship program. The scholarship is designed to support undergraduate and graduate scholarships for Native Americans. The undergraduates will get $5,000 and graduate students will get $10,000 award amount.
The American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES) is a national, nonprofit organization focused on substantially increasing the representation of American Indians, Alaska Natives, Native Hawaiians, Pacific Islanders, First Nations and other indigenous peoples of North America in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) studies and careers.
In order to participate in the scholarship contest, entrants must meet the following criteria:
- Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and Electrical Engineering. Chemical Engineering and Material Science will also be considered.
- Students must be a full-time undergraduate student at an accredited four-year college/university or a full-time graduate student at an accredited college/university for the 2017-2018 academic year.
- Must have a 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA.
- Applicants must be an enrolled member/citizen or a descendant of an enrolled member/citizen.

Legacy Scholarship Program will support 20 graduate and 20 undergraduate students each year award amount for the 2017- 2018 year is $5,000 for undergraduates, $10,000 for graduate students.
