Pitt-Greensburg Full-Tuition Scholarship Competition

The University of Pittsburgh is offering Full-Tuition Scholarship Competition for students who are admitted as a full-time freshman student for fall 2017. Students of all nationalities are eligible to apply for the scholarship. The Greensburg Campus fulfills its mission by providing its students with opportunities to develop leadership, a sense of civic engagement and public service, global awareness, and a commitment to academic excellence. Three winners will receive full-tuition scholarship value of over $50,000 for up to 4 years if the student meets renewal criteria of 3.5 GPA each academic year.

The University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg is a baccalaureate degree-granting unit and a regional campus of the University of Pittsburgh. Pitt-Greensburg recognizes that good citizenship, civic leadership, and full participation in an information-based, global society are a function of educational excellence.

Eligibility:

Qualified students are invited to apply and participate in the competition. In order to be eligible, the student must meet the following criteria:

  • Admitted as a full-time freshman student to Pitt-Greensburg before February 1, 2017 (Direct applicants only, option students are not eligible to apply)
  • Achieved a cumulative high school GPA of 3.8 or higher (at time of application)
  • Scored a minimum of 1200 on SAT, 25 on ACT

How to Apply:

 Supporting Documents:

  • Two letters of recommendation.
  • Include a resume detailing any community involvement/extracurricular.
  • Essay 750 words in pdf.

Financial Aid and Award Money:

Pitt-Greensburg will award 3 full-tuition scholarships value of over $50,000 to freshmen students. The award will cover tuition only (in-state rate) for up to 4 years if the student meets renewal criteria of 3.5 GPA each academic year.

Application Deadline:

The deadline for applications for the Full-Tuition Scholarship Competition is February 1, 2017.
