Kauffman Foundation Dissertation Fellowship Program

The Kauffman Foundation establishes a scholarship program named as “The Kauffman Dissertation Fellowship program”. Students pursuing doctoral degrees from accredited U.S. institutions of higher education are eligible to apply for the scholarship program. The Foundation in achieving its goal of building a body of respected entrepreneurship research and making entrepreneurship a highly regarded academic field. Fellowship grants of $20,000 each will provide to Ph.D., D.B.A., or other doctoral students.

The Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation (sometimes simply called Kauffman Foundation) is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit, private foundation based in Kansas City, Missouri. The foundation focuses on entrepreneurship and education and was founded by Ewing Marion Kauffman in 1966, who had previously founded the drug company Marion Laboratories.

Eligibility:

Ph.D., D.B.A., or other doctoral students at accredited U.S. universities to support dissertations in the area of entrepreneurship are eligible to apply to scholarship.

The proposal and letter of recommendation must be submitted online at www.kauffman.org/kdf.

Financial Aid and Award Money:             

Up to 20 awards, of Dissertation Fellowship, grants for $20,000 each will be provided by The Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation.

Application Deadline: 

The scholarship application now open and the deadline to apply is  August 16, 2017.
