ARRL Foundation Scholarship

The ARRL Foundation is currently accepting applications for ARRL Foundation Scholarship Program. The scholarships are open to eligible radio amateurs who are pursuing higher education. More than 80 scholarships ranging from $500 to $5,000 will be awarded in 2017. Only apply for those scholarships for which you qualify. You may ask to be considered for multiple scholarships. Just complete the on-line application form and participate in Scholarship Program.

The National Association for Amateur Radio (ARRL) is the national association for Amateur Radio in the US. It was founded in 1914 by Hiram Percy Maxim as The American Radio Relay League, ARRL is a non-commercial organization of radio amateurs.

Eligibility:

  • Eligible radio amateurs pursuing higher education are welcome to apply
  • All applicants must be active, FCC-licensed hams

How to Apply:

  •  Applying for the scholarship, you should complete on-line scholarship application form through the given link: http://www.arrl.org/scholarship-application
  • Applicants must also forward a copy of their academic transcript(s) from their most recently completed school year to foundation-at-arrl.org.

Award Amount:

More than 80 scholarships ranging from $500 to $5,000 will be awarded in 2017.

Application Deadline:

  • Applications for the 2017 scholarship process must be received by midnight October 1, 2016, and 11:59 PM Eastern Standard Time on January 31, 2017.
  • Transcripts must be received by Thursday, February 16, 2017.
