The McKenzie Law firm is pleased to announce scholarship award for the students who seek to f their educational goals. The Legacy Planning Scholarship seeks to bring awareness to students about advanced financial planning and fiscal responsibility.
Whether you are running a business or raising a family, you have legal obligations too important to ignore. The McKenzie Law Firm is here to help the peoples.
Eligibility:
- Student must be enrolled in a post High School Education
- Preference will be given to Veterans
How to Apply:
To be applying for the scholarship, the candidates must submit an essay on the following topic. There is no minimum or maximum length requirement, but we expect that the winning essay will fall somewhere between 750 and 1,500 words.
“Imagine that you are 80 years old and you are only now planning your will. What would you want your legacy to be? Write a letter from your ideal future self to your current self, explaining what you will accomplish over the next 10 years, how you will accomplish it, and what the continuing impact of those accomplishments will be after you are gone”
Supporting Documents:
- Proof of attendance or acceptance at a certified school
- Proof of a minimum 3.0 GPA from the school you currently attend or most recently attended (copy of official transcript is sufficient)
Submitting Details:

Award Amount:
$1,000 scholarship award will be given to the winning candidate.
Application Deadline:
The complete application must be received by email on or before November 29th, 2015.
