Scholarship

The W.I.S.E. Organization has announced the winner of this year’s WISE (Women in Sports and Events) Cleveland Scholarship Program. Courtney Fallon ’16 is a recipient of WISE (Women in Sports and Events) Cleveland Scholarship.  The announcement was made at the WISE annual luncheon in May at the House of Blues Cleveland. Courtney is one of four women to receive a $1,500 scholarship.

About the Scholarship:

The WISE Cleveland Scholarship Program provides scholarships to women who live in Northeast Ohio. The women, who are graduating high school seniors or current college students with an intended course study in sports management, are eligible for the scholarship. About the Scholarship Provider:

The mission of “Women in Sports and Events Cleveland” is to strive for empowerment and career advancement through socialization, education, networking and mentoring programs and events. The organization makes available resources and knowledge to all members in order to further the growth and success of current and our future members.

About the Scholarship Holder:

Fallon is enrolled in the Mike Cleary Program in Sports Studies. She is pursuing a double major in business marketing (Boler School of Business) and sports administration (College of Arts and Sciences). She works in John Carroll’s sports information department, and for the Cleveland Indians Fan Services department. Fallon currently has an internship with Catholic Charities where she focuses on Grants and Fundraising. Fallon also serves as a tour guide for the Office of Admission and participate in different events.
