The Army & Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES) is glad to announce Caring Scholarship Contest. The Exchange is excited to reward young scholars who are making a difference in their community. Military students who excel at serving their communities can earn cash for college by telling their stories in an essay contest. Through the worldwide Rewards of Caring scholarship contest, four winners will each be awarded a $5,000 scholarship.
For more than 118 years, the Exchange’s mission has been to support the men and women of the armed forces during military operations, humanitarian missions and other endeavors around the world.
Eligibility:
- Military students who excel at serving their communities can apply
- To enter, authorized students in grades six through 12 with a 2.5 or higher grade-point average
How to Apply:
For applying the scholarship contest, the students can submit an essay in English of 500 words or less explaining their involvement in community service projects and why their community is important to them.
