2015 "Make Your Mark" Bookmark Contest

The Utah Educational Savings Plan (UESP) is offering the Bookmark Contest for Utah residents. The scholarship is available for the students who are either enrolled in kindergarten through 12th grade at a Utah school or school-age students who are home schooled. Eight winners will be selected and each of them will get receive a $1,000 amount.

The Utah Educational Savings Plan (UESP) was established by the Utah State Legislature in 1996. It is nonprofit, tax-advantaged college savings program to help parents, grandparents, and other interested parties save for loved ones’ future college expenses.

Eligibility:

Contest participants must be:

  • Utah residents
  • Either enrolled in kindergarten through 12th grade at a Utah school, or school-age students who are home schooled

The following are ineligible to enter the contest:

  • Employees, directors, and agents of the Utah State Board of Regents, Utah Higher Education Assistance Authority, UESP, Step Up Utah, and their respective affiliates, parents, subsidiaries, and advertising agencies; and the immediate family members of all such persons (spouses, parents, siblings, and children)
  • Past winners of the “Make Your Mark” Bookmark Contest
  • Participants are not required to own a UESP account to enter the contest.

 How to Apply:

For applying the contest, the candidates must design their bookmark and complete the application form. The form can be downloaded by the given link:

Award Amount:

A panel of judges will award each of eight winners a $1,000 amount.
